Sept 1 2015 first Regular meeting following the summer break,
hope to greet you at the Portals brethren of Palmer and welcome visitors.
Palmer Lodge
Palmer Lodge No. 372 will install and investiture Officers of the Lodge for the coming Masonic year at the regular meeting of Palmer Lodge No. 372. Lodge opens at 7:30 pm to conduct the business of the Lodge with the Ceremony of Installation beginning @ 8:00 pm (approx.)
Visiting brethren are welcome.
June 3 was an auspicious evening – with the installation of the Worshipful Master and investiture of the line officers for the upcoming masonic year ( June to June in Palmer). The installation was conducted by W. Bro. Clark Stickland, having the distinction to install his son as Master of the Lodge.
This is especially significant because W. Bro. Clark Stickland has just completed his year as Master of the Lodge. Often a father will have the honour of installing his son as Master of the Lodge, it is rare that they will have followed each other in succession.
The last meeting before the summer break, Palmer Lodge will see the new Worshipful Master and Officers of the Lodge installed and invested into their respective offices.
This is an important evening in the Lodge and for the officers taking new offices. Visitors are always welcome.
April 29, 2014 Palmer Lodge will host an emergent meeting for next year’s officer line to ‘step up’ to the next chairs to show they can complete the work required to open and close the Lodge. It is hoped that a couple of brethren who have been preparing, will also prove their proficiency on this evening.
The ‘Palmer Lodge Fort Degree’ is returning after having been on hiatus for some seven years. Over the past number of years brethren have inquired if and when the ‘Fort Degree’ will be brought back.
This is the year. With the year 2014 being a remembrance of the end of War of 1812, a celebration of 200 years of peace and friendship between Canada and the United States, it is fitting that we, Masons of Fort Erie also recognize such an auspicious occasion.
